Husband's English Shepherd- an 80 lb collie type dog-- follows the tractor/bobcat for 3 hrs, some in deep snow. Has 2-3 hr nap, then husband comes home and runs 4 miles 4 days a wk with the dog. If we had a pedometer, I think that dog does 9 miles a day at least.
My ACDx- 25 lbs- RIDES in the tractor/bobcat if it's cold, runs with the husband if the snow isn't too deep. At age 6 now, this dog would be perfectly happy to spend cold days lying by the fire.
I am currently rehabbing after knee surgery, I have become quite the two-ball enthusiast from a stationary handler position. it is great, yr dogs asses will be dragging after a few minutes.
note: Ed in one of his vids does not like two-ball, can't remember the reason.
Two ball can sometimes make it a pia to teach the retrieve to hand since it's already learned to drop the first ball in order to get the handler to toss the second.
Back chain the retrieve with markers.
The dog needs to learn that the retrieve to hand is a rewardable behavior.
I have one of those hand held ball tossers but the dogs know they have to bring me THAT ball and not just drop one for the other to be thrown..
I do some Frisbee with mine but I switch up with the retrieving one time she brings it to me then the next time she drops it. So she gets used to holding it and only drops it if I tell her to. Even if she drops it I make sure to get her to bring it to me first. she gets it also so hopefully she will not drop the item only if I tell her.
what is something the next step up from freeby Microsoft movie maker that is simple but still good.
what is a simple video file conversion software to get.
thanks any info.
BTW, what the hell training does one do to be a video editor, is it an actual trade?
I'm not sure about consumer level editing software since I am fortunate enough to just edit on the pro stuff.
Handbrake is a good converter I like, and it's free!
It's an actual trade, yes. The training I got was all on the job. There are schools for it, but they don't get you real world experience which is how you really learn what it takes.
