Anybody tried these or heard anything about them good/bad? The idea of one purchase for multiple months of protection really appeals to me. I also feel like most spot on stuff just sits on top of my Boxer's coat. I waited 3 days for that nasty skunk stripe of residue to soak in before I finally wiped it off so I doubt he's really getting full protection.
I need REALLY good tick protection. The areas that I track in are completely infested this time of year. The Sentry that I've been using seems to work pretty well for my ACD. I've found one tick crawling around on him and that's it. Others have been pulling multiple attached ticks off their pups after every tracking session. I've been told by my vet that Frontline seems to be losing effectiveness around here. She recommends Activil and I'll ask her about the Seresto collar when I take my bulldog pup in for her next puppy series on Thursday.

Can't help with the collar you mentioned --but we recently switched to a chewable called NexGuard that our vet was recommending. It works for fleas and ticks and is much more palatable than the Comfortis we had been using (and it only did fleas.)
Or vet especially liked this product because it kills ticks on the dog before they have a chance to transmit any tick-borne viruses.
If you're open to a chewable/systemic med versus a topical/collar, this is an option to consider.
I have been using this collar for a few months now and have found a few DEAD ticks on my Malinous. My vet recommended it in our area in N.H. since we are loaded with ticks and thus far I Have not seen anything but good results. The longevity claim I cannot speak to yet since I have not used it long enough.
A couple east coast friends used them last year with good results. They did say that they weren't as effective toward the end but figured that it was due to swimming.
