I can't remember, but a vet once told me at three months of age if you triple the weight and double the height, that would be close to the adult size.

I hear that predicting the weight and look of any being is only that, there is no way to know for sure how big an animal will be based on puppy weight. I think looking at the size of the Dame and Sire would be a better way of predicting the dogs eventual adults size. And even then there may be a large or small uncle somewhere that the person/dog takes after. I generally want to look at the parents to get an idea of what a dog will look like. But I've heard and visited some black and tan and Black dogs have 1 white pup out of a litter of 8, the rest look like their parents.
