For those of us, myself, who don't have a grand to spend right now on a dog crate (ones on this website). what is a more affordable option that is still a solid choice. I love the ones on this site but I need one NOW and just can't afford those.
reason for new crate: my current crate isn't secure. poor design as she can just push door and the hinges come off. So solid and secure is utmost importance on new crate.
what do you guys use or recommend. I am looking for airplane certified so plastic crates are probably my only option.
If you're looking for a plastic airline type crate I'd just check Craigslist. Lots of people get a puppy shipped to them or take the dog on vacation and then decide that they don't need a crate. Half retail price is pretty normal.
