I have watched the perils of ignorant back yard breeders with my son's dog Louis; I have always been concerned about the tremor in his right foot, right from when he was an 8 week old pup - although I am certain he was a lot younger than the idiots that let their Dane get over their Boxer said when they sold him - and now, he has terrible nerves, is wired to the moon and still pees when agitated, he walks awkwardly, his gait is like that of a kangaroo and he has zero spatial awareness.
I am looking after him for ten days while the boy and his brood are away, and I am really looking forward to them coming back, as much as I love Louis, he is an exhausting dog to have around!
Still, I imagine the aforementioned idiots enjoyed the fruits of that poor bitches labour
When we wanted to have dogs, we saw two very sweet puppies outside of a pet shop together in a narrow cage, they could hardly move. We were so tempted to buy them in order to free them. But we knew by doing this we would only give place for the next two poor creatures. We complained. The result was just a shrug At least those poor little things recieved some water and were moved out of the sun. (For how long?)
Later we bought our Pits from a breeder. The puppies had enough space and were together with their mother. Everything made at first a good IMPRESSION.
Nonetheless we shouldn't have bought them. It was a litter of 11, 6 of which were already dead. We went there with a Vet. He reproached to that breeder woman that she hadn't given enough and only very cheap food to the mother. Then we bought two, because we wanted to avoid that they'd die too.
GREAT MISTAKE!!!
We don't regret it as far as it concerns our dogs. They are healthy, affectionate and give us a such a lot of pleasure. Even though we wouldn't do it again, as we had supported a horrible traffic.
Money, money, money.

To my knowledge the originator of the Labradoodle was the only one who put a thought behind what he was doing but I've read that he since regrets it after seeing how it has gone rampart out of control.
LOL, and I never supported the "need" for creating the Labradoodle, because the lovely Curly Coated Retriever is a GREAT breed, with a MUCH More Sensible COAT
Absolutely! Even if there may reasons for certain types of breeding - I really can not judge this - but in most cases it seems to me at least very questionable. Good comparison what you're saying about the Labradoodle!
