Does anyone on this board currently feed their dog/pup K9-Kraving Dog Food. I'm just looking for some feedback on this product as I don't know anyone who uses it. Thanks for any and all help
Hi Will,
I know of people who feed K9 Kraving & like it. I make up my own raw diet, so I don't use it. You might also look into Bravo. Alot of people in my area feed that. (Connecticut- Bravo is made here) The K9, I believe has the enzymes & vitamins already in it, I think, so that you don't have to add it yourself. Bravo does not have that in it,but it does have the veggie pulp. I don't know if K9 has the veggies in it or not. Don't know if Bravo is available in you area. It's not that big a deal to make up yourself. Just takes a bit of planning. good luck.
Thanks for your response Anne. I definitely intend to feed a raw diet...but was just curious if it's more cost effective to feed a pre-made raw meal like K9 (or Bravo) or to just go ahead and trial and error my way through the real, home made BARF diet. I will research Bravo for sure.
From what I've researched on BARF already, it seems the most challenging part is getting the nutrition right...calories, protein, vitamins, etc. But is probably worth the effort Thanks again Anne.
K9 Kravings does have the carrot Oleow ??? in it...I have fed it to my dogs a few times when I was visiting the owner and my dogs loved it...I also observed at great length a 10 year old male who has been fed it most of his life and he looks and acts great!!! If I can find room for another freezer and get moved, I would like to switch to it...
