I was thinking the same thing! When Candi said this about her Wolfhounds:
"They never really had any ailments, never lost their vision or hearing, never got arthritis or had any joint problems, never became incontinent or senile"
I was thinking to myself, yep, that sounds like a wish many of us humans over a certain age would be having for ourselves!

Love the pics! She looks so happy! I love wolfhounds too, swore I would have one eventually. Our temps sadly are not made for the breed. When I move,tho!
As for age, ah, what do I know, I am 35 and live for 60's music, and walk like I need a walker!

Becky, eventually sniff around Canada & Alaska for IW breeders who live where it snows & blows all winter -- These hounds have a hard outer coat & wool undercoat ... Like my Borzoi, they are quite cold-tolerant, if well-acclimated to harsh winters
And get THIS even: way back when, Macy's department store in NYC used to maintain a pack of working DOBERMANS as night guards at their Manhattan flagship -- Those Dobies lived on the high-rise ROOF in exposed kennels year-round & thrived in winter weather conditions there (!!!) Even my two rescues below, both adopted from a Southern California sanctuary, have No Problem living here in San Francisco without ANY heater at all (though they don't like the rain) LOL.
