I didn't understand this article as reproach against LB but against certain owners. which is not LB's fault. Provided that somewhere really happened abuse, then those people should be held accountable for it and i'd find it a good thing that the webboard members and other people are informed and an exchange of opinions should be allowed.
It all has to be cleared up if something is true or not. But if, then it is in the heart of each of us and each doglover that deplorable behaviors of dog owners should be uncovered and followed by appropriate consequences.

Ed closed the thread- he does not allow defamation on this board. We have no proof of any abuse, nor has there been any kind of legal conviction for anything at this time.
This is Ed's board. What he says goes - and us moderators need to follow his rules.
We agree that should these events prove to be true, the persons responsible need to be held accountable. However, it is not our job to be judge, jury, and executioner. We have police and prosecutors for that.

Thanks, Kelly, it wasn't my intention to disregard Ed's decision. I primarily wanted to understand it and I also should have liked to hear what other members know about all this. Believe me, nothing with judging or excecuting, but wanting to be better informed.
