Last night on our walk at the park we passed two barking excited/aggressive dogs with their people and Greta followed me off the path, sat and focused on me (with rewards) when asked instead of getting excited, distracted, and barking/bouncing around. I am just so tickled!
Sorry if this seems like a dumb post but it is so nice to see progress and my coworkers are tired of hearing about my dog...
She turns one year old next week, can't believe it, time has flown.

This is AWESOME!
My last distraction project was with an older guy I adopted, and it was 18 months before his progress was what I'd call excellent. (His trigger was other dogs.)
The extra engagement work suggested by Mr. Bob Scott in another post plus one of the most basic redirects from the Leash Reactivity video really made a difference.

As for co-workers, some just can't understand Lol! Jim is not as interested in my big steps either...
