Tracey, I understand your indignation. Look, this jerk is a good friend of my husband, normally he behaves and is a very nice person. I can't forbid my husband to have contact with him. But as I told yesterday, he will only have one last chance and even this only under the conditions I spoke about. I think everyone who built crap deserves a second chance.

I also told my husband, if that guy or another one should even try to do such a thing again, he will be put out the door for good. He himself would never give alcohol to a dog or other animal, but sure, he should have hindered that imbecil to do this. So he was an imbecil too at that moment.

I know your support was meant for the dog. Nonetheless every message which came from the webboard was a very strong support for me too, as it helped me to convince my husband that our rules never ever must be broken.

By the way: To knock that guy's teeth out is a brilliant idea, But it would have a very negative side effect for my dogs. I would sit in jail and have no possibility to protect them.

Without ojike: Don't worry, I've got quite a strong will and assertiveness. My hubby even fears this in certain situations, because I can get awfully furios. None of my dogs will be harmed in my presence. Apart from this I have only one of them on the veranda when we have guests. Only one, because then I have a better control over his/her behavior. I'm allowing them to guests for I want them to get used to a few more people = part of distraction-training

If once i should be absent, the dogs will be safe and sound in their kennels.
I hope you can also understand that I can't be angry with friends for their stupidness for the rest of my life. As I said - second chance, provided they show insight. This also helps to have a quiet discussion about such things and I think, this will help more to change a mindset than the shouting we had.
