Why ask my husband???? I can decide this myself. Actually I have already decided. Long time ago. I own most of LB's DVDs, Vids, courses. Most of them by Michael Ellis. From some of them I only learned the first part, because the second one seemed to me too difficult. especially "The power of playnig tug with your dog." by M.E.
When I watched this one the first time I nearly passed away from a heartstroke out of fear. Later on one of the Pits and the LabMix learned tugging, you know, the simpler part of it where the tug is presented in front of us and by stepping back. The other presentations ( tug on my side or where dog comes running like devils from behind and such creepy acrobatics, I don't dare. Not because I think the dogs might attack, but because they might bite me inadvertently when I hold that highly dangerous sausage inexactly.
But thanks for your hint, Candi, , I'll certainly find some occasions where I will use it.
By the way, Christina:
The book series by "James Herriot", and the TV series about him ("All Creatures Great & Small") are MEMOIRS of his Vet practice in England during the 1930s - 1950s -- These are all FABULOUS entertainment which is occasionally instructional as well ... But they are NOT about dog training, just FYI
