I always freeze our goat milk in Ziploc brand (not bargain brand, you'll regret it) freezer bags. Thaws beautifully and apparently our pups liked it just fine. We supplement dam's milk with the goats milk several times daily with our baby puppies. Just to "top them off" so to speak, making sure everyone was full.
Everytime I put them on her the milk comes out of the nose's and the same thing with bottle feeding. We had a water puppy that blocked the way so they ended up with a lot of fluid in their lungs. They are 3 days old now and finally not very raspy. We had 8 but lost the water baby and 2 others so now have 5.
