Mugs up to all, anyone have any goals?
Me, just plan on keeping mobile, and perhaps a bit lighter for the eventual surgery! And get better with carving to sell to tourists during the seasons!
My goal this year is to appreciate the little things more.
The sounds the dogs make when they dream, putting my hand down when reading in the chair and finding a dog head to scratch, Frito smelling paws... the day will come when they won’t be here, and I don’t want to take those moments for granted.
That goes for friends and family too - just FYI. My brain just kind of always goes to dogs....
I agree, except I am partial to my rats, lol.
Sasha isn't the hang out type yet, still quite feral, but getting there.
But totally would love to scratch a rat while I carve! Mwhahaha, with of course Sasha in the vicinity!
Wishing all of my LB friends a happy, healthy, and safe New Year.
I haven't set any goals for 2021, other than just surviving. And maybe cleaning my house. It's a sad commentary when I seriously think that could take me all year. To be fair, I'm including some major projects, like cleaning out the attic, garage, a couple pole barns, not to mention various file cabinets.
I always have dogs on the brain, too, and I do very much hope to welcome a new one (or two) to the family at some point in the coming year. I don't know when that will be, or what kind of dogs they will be, or where they will come from, but we'll cross those bridges. I don't so much care about breed, age, appearance, etc. Rather, I'm going to be looking at personality and temperament and trying hard to make a good match with my husband and I and our lifestyle.
I hope dusting is not a part of house cleaning, or mine will stay dirty til 2022!
Should be like my dad and use an air compressor lol!
Thank you, he certainly hit the hideous stage quite quickly!
Cheri, they seem to find us I think! Can't remember who had said you get the dog you need not the dog you want?
Anyone speak to Christina?
I've been thinking of Christina for months now & wondering what their situation must be like down there in Brazil -- Hope someone here is able to contact her with all of our well-wishes for a much-improved 2021...
