Are there many folks here in the states that do this sport, or is it something mainly overseas?
I am trying to learn more about the different dog sports. I live in Montana and the only dog sports I have seen here are things like agility, schutzhund and akc.
If you are interested in KNPV training the folks over at Seven Pines Kennel are involved in it and often bring in KNPV trainers to do training and seminars.
KNPV is putely and uniquely Dutch. It is a wonderful discipline and has raised abit of interest for years here in the States. But, its existance is really just academic in the US as the KNPV has no interest in being anything other than Dutch. In fact, it has been in recent years that they stopped allowing foreigners from becoming members.
Kevin, thank you for the info. That is too bad that foreigners are not allowed to become members. I will check out the kennel information you provided.
