I am new to the sport of Schutzhund and am enthusiastic about getting involved with a club. I have found all the clubs listed in the USA site. The closest clubs are over an hour away if traffic is light. Is there anybody out there that lives near Pasadena California that is looking for others to train with?
I have gone so far as to contact the LAPD and the LASD volunteering to work with their K-9 platoon or at least be an observer. I haven't heard back yet. They're probably concerned about liability among other things.
I have just become aware of this site. I realize the info I am responding to is older, but I was wondering if anyone in the los angeles area is actively involved with the Long Beach club. I am interested in becoming involved with this club (i have an 18 month gsd male(n) who comes from a line of schutzhund 3s. didn't know it when I got him...lol). Any feedback and contact information would be greatly appreciated.
