I have a client who lives in a suburb of Houston. He is looking for a training group. He says the clubs listed on the USA page are too far. Anyone know of a group down there?
The Bayou City club meets in Magnolia. They have an excellent helper and several very experienced people to help new handlers. They also have a pretty nice lighted field. Friend of mine is a member.
Joel and the guys that train out in Magnolia are decent people. We actually live about 4 minutes drive from where they train.
Our club is off I45/FM1960 - we train Sat mornings, tracking starting at 8am, protection at 9am.
We are an all breed SchH club, and welcome new members with open arms... as long as they are serious (sick of 'look-see timewasters')
Oh, and Spring Valley is a good club too. Mike and his wife are very nice people - they are training out in Brookshire tho.. quite a haul. We were out at their trial in Dec for one of our club's dog's SchH2 - they are great people - very friendly.
That would be up to the director after the dog is evaluated. There is no breed specific requirements only drive, temperment(nerves) and size requirements that I'm aware of
