Training a handler hard dog is a pain, but the basic training concepts remain absolutely the *same* - only the level of correction is changed. And if the appropriate level of correction ( or motivation <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" /> )is not enough for the dog - no real training is occurring. One. try laying a small scent pad at the corner, 4 or five steps standing still, and then step out in the new rirection. second try, coming to the corner, stop, walk backwords (back track) 2 or 3 steps, and make your corner. He will start watching for the corner all the time, instead of only after the scent disappears. flyfsh77
