You people try and make me out like a fiend on the Oprah Winfrey show. Typical American attitude to blow the whole situation out of proportion and stone me before I have even had my chance to give a full account to the jury. Then when I want to reply the topic is closed and leaves me as marked like a dictator harbouring weapons of mass destruction even when the facts are dubious.
Here are the facts
1.It is winter here where I stay. (Yes there is actually inhabitors in the southern hemisphere.) No classic dogs and kids dying from sunstroke tabloid tale here.
2. I was out in the shop for max 5 minutes
(Again no sensational tale of kid and dog starving in car for hours)
3. I have taken meticulous care to nurture the relationship between my girl and my dog. She
is very gentle in nature and soft with all animals. Not a boisterous yelling todler. She feeds the dog under my supervision and have controlled his food since puppyhood to ensure her position as a higher ranking pack member. She can take his bowl away while he is eating and he wont
show the least signs of aggression or dominance. Then also the dog in question is
a really laid back and gentle individual unless
provoked by a real hostile threat of which any 5 year old is definately not capable inducing.
Now you have had your chance to reply and I am glad you cleared that up for us.
Attack dog is a bad word around here, leaving children unattended with "attack dogs" creates a really bad picture for most people. Especially people that do protection train their dogs and understand the fine line we all have to walk in this country when it comes to keeping legitimate protection training legitimate. It isn't easy with all the dirtbag drug dealing scumbags with attack PittRottBandogs that kill people all too often, the negative media attention, dangerous dog legislation, PETA azzholes, and the village idiots that believe every dog on the planet should have the temperament of a lazy black lab.
Also, threads that really have no point also bug me. This one and the other you started fall into that category.
AND I certainly don't take kindly to halfassed attempts at criticism of American foreign policy on a dog training webboard.
