Those of you that are in Law Enforcement and work with explosives detector dogs may be interested in review and responding to ATF's proposal for a National odor recognition test. If you've not seen a copy of the proposed test, contact your bomb techs and obtain a copy. Discussion of the test would perhaps be better conducted in private messages. I would be interested in the response to the proposal.

DFrost The test may be the best thing that has hit the Nation, I don't know I haven't reviewed it.
But, I have a philisophical problem with it. I'm a bit of a Constitutionalist and pretty much expect the Federal Gov. to butt out.
Kevin, I'm with you. getting big brother involved never works out good. Cant wait to see the test criteria. Because we work an EDD, it is all about public safety. It couldn't hurt to have a MINIMUM standards guidline to ensure proficiency. Who knows, I could be wrong.
