was out the other night with him and when i got to the end of my drive he began going nutty. produced a growl that i havent heard before followed by some barking and trying to lunge away.
i didnt hear or see anything.
walked back up drive and he was doing the same trying to go through the brush next to the drive.
he normally just huffs a bit when we are out at night but nothing as aggressive as that. is it just possible that he saw something that i just didnt see. wouldnt expect him to go as crazy as he did though.
he also seems to be displaying some dog aggression now as yesterday i was walking him and there is a golden that will act aggressive in his unfenced front yard, this dog was about 50' away and my dog was lunging, growling and barking even w/his prong on.
Remember that sense of smell is a dog's strongest sense, far superior to your own senses of smell, sight and hearing put together. He probably smelled a critter that you could not see or hear.
