Hi i live in england and i am trying to find a good doberman for sport work, does anyone know of any good breeders in europe i cant seem to find any.

Sanny, keep looking. There are some working line breeders of dobermann in europe. I don't know of any in the u.k, but that doesn't mean that they are not there. Some kennels I know of (but can't make a judgement as to their quality since I haven't dealt with them) are briskas kennel in sweden, bayern (not sure if this is still in operation, Manfred Lerner may have retired??) and warringhof kennels in germany.
Briskas and Warringhof both have internet sites so you could check them out. I'm sure you have schutzhund clubs in the u.k, you could try asking them - one of these clubs is bound to have a dobermann owner. If you peruse this forum
and others it will give you an idea of what "lines" to look for in a pedigree. Well known working lines dobermann in the past have included ellendonk and weyermuhle (spelling??) - maybe you could use these bloodlines to narrow down your search. For example Briskas have Biene v.d Doberwache, a sister to the well known dobermann stud Bronco v.d. Doberwache. Biene & Bronco's pedigree is a good one..Good luck with your search, I'm sure other forum members will be able to give you better information..
