i agree that the owners are responsible obviously for what their dogs do. they should evaluate the temperment and do what is necessary to ensure the dog does not get into trouble.
not sure how much of the aggression is line driven or training issues.
sure many times the aggression can be redircted but probably only from experience trainers.
in my neighborhood every other house owns a dog or two. pits to pugs. (i'm the only proud owner of a dobe though.) <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/laugh.gif" alt="" /> there is a leash law but most of the nonaggressive dogs are loose. problem is when im walking my dog and i meet these dogs for the first time i do not know what their temperment is going to be.
cant understand how owners allow the dog the opportunity to attack. surely there must be some inclination that their dog has shown some unproked people aggression prior to killing someone.....wouldnt ya think.
total irresponsible shitheads that probably cant even take care of themselves never mind anything else. yes they are irresponsible to begin with and to put a potentially dangerous breed in their hands is basically asking for trouble.
if they want the dogs to behave aggressively ,hey that's fine with me, just keep them under control and make absolutely certain thatthe dog never even comes close to an opportunity to act.
