Recently saw a post on another forum that inquired as to any 300 point Rotts. No responses thus far. I'm interested to know for research purposes. How about 295 or better, that should make it easier.
Don't remember the point #s, but several years back, a dog named...I believe...Langhoffen's Fax...was holding his own pretty darn well against GSDs in real, open competition as opposed to specialty trials. Worked...maybe???by Dean Calderon. Very nice dog.
I am sure Roland Seibel handled a dog a few years back that scored 300 in Germany. I think the dog was Pascha vom Hegestrauch, I am not 100% sure. Pascha was bought by Renee Lancaster in CA back in the mid 90's and he died in '95.
Doug's right- great memory! Renee got Pascha from Roland Siebel. He did do a 300 point trial with Roland. I was told he was sold because he'd broken a molar off chewing on steel chains, couldn't show in Germany anymore. Roland was showing him in schutzhund and conformation. Nice dog- he was not a huge overweight rottweiler. Very pushy, but easy to take care of. I almost got a rottweiler because of him. And of course only if it was one of his pups.
Wow, I didn't realize it was that long ago- that was an awful week.
