for everyone out there who have or would like to have a Rot.
Stay away from dry food or for that matter stay away from any dog food you can afford to buy.
About a year and half ago I started feeding my Rots, raw hamburger mixed with green veggie pulp(I juice for myself daily)Raw egg sometimes
My dogs look completely different and act completely different now....cant really imagine the difference by reading this post.

I feed purina mixed with raw hambuger, pouched eggs, sometimes Fish, fish oil or juice from the tuna. The purina was reccommended by my Vet along with some other kibbles, but I decided to mix it after seeing the results from other trainers dogs. I also noticed that the mixture makes their coat glossier and they seem to have more pep in their step. Especially around feeding time, spinning and jumping around, before they have to down to eat.
I hear there are some owners who have some problem with their dogs eating any or all of their meal. Not a problem here. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/wink.gif" alt="" />
The difference in my dogs since I switched to raw is absolutely incredible! Their energy level is up about six notches! Skin and coat beautiful and shiney, my nine year old schipperke runs and plays like a puppy. Hangs in with two Mals, so you know it's better. Even his arthritis is so much better. Actually, I don't even see any signs of it anymore. He's a new man!
I challenge anyone to try it for four months and then if you don't see a difference go back to kibble.
I must confess that I was a serious doubter of raw, but now, mine will never eat kibble again!
