While I agree that discussion of web and author copyright belongs on any web bulletin board discussion whether the topic be child raising or the training and care of GSDs (maybe those are the same thing!)and I also agree that a discussion of ethics in breeding GSDs is a valid topic of discussion in a message board devoted to GSDs, I will NEVER agree that libel, personal insults and ad hominom attacks are appropriate topics of discussion ANYWHERE.
It's such a shame that the same ethics you despair of other's possessing are lacking in yourself.
But what would I know? According to you, I'm an unethical back yard breeder.<shrug>
Janis so sweet for you to defend your spineless hubby. I have not commented on your breeding practices, never cared enough to look into them to be honest, but since you brought them up ..... Maybe others can do that instead.
My ethics are unquestionable, my calling someone on BS is a different story. What is wrong with the truth? Your hubby can post my e-mails if he wishes, unlike him, I stand by what I say, and would not threaten a lawsuit if I was quoted.
I agree with you! I figured this was one board seriously about dogs..and here we go again...flaming, bashing, petty differences. Sheesh! I don't post much, but I sure don't want to read this garbage!
I'll vouch for Laureen. Of all the spineless people I've discovered, she's not one of them . I've seen some of the material in question, good stuff. Rescuers do get it harder from "certain" people.

I am closing this thread. I know that this topic can bring out heated opinions. It seems to be an "Either-Or" situation. Meaning you Either agree with me OR you are against me.
I have been there and done that. I think a better position is to accept that there are some very nice people involved in American bloodline dogs. I don't agree with what they do (they don't agree or understand what I do). Such is life.
Personal attacks like those above really accomplish nothing but cause hard feelings. Take it from somone who has "been there and done that"
The energy put into debates like this would be better spent learning more about breeding and training.
