I'm looking to compliment my male with a working line female. He is a Leerburg dog for all intents and purposes, his father is Schandor through Otis/ Mink and his mother is a Queck granddaughter through Ed's kennel. His hips are ready to be x-rayed, in the event they don't go at least good, this is a theoretical question only.

I would like to add a little more hardness, handler hardness, civil drive and defense. He is a bit on the small side, 23 1/2 inches at 2.5 years old so I would like to add some size, nothing too big. Whether or not I want to raise another puppy or aquire something ready to go; I have not decided yet.

I'm looking for specific dogs and lines that would give me what I'm looking for in the end. As well as what to look at, I'm equally interested in what NOT to consider and why. The whole breeding thing is a way off, I just wanted to start the search and information gathering now. Thanks. G. "
