Anybody has any knowledge (pros & cons) of Prey-9 Kennels ---- Sire: Matrix von der Maineiche Dam: V Dawina vom Beurener Fels.
You can either post here or PM.
I checked the website out. They claim import dogs yet show what looks like to me American breed line GSDs.
No doubt they can import a dog for ya but this is hit or miss unless you know the people on the other side you are dealing with and they respect you or them as a client.
A things trip me.
1) The dogs they show look like American GSD with maybe some mixed import lines.
2) Advertise color of the dog and price (cheap) as a sales pitch.

Well, until this post I had never heard of them, so I can't help you much there, BUT... I am not sure what Dennis is talking about so far as seeing am-breds...
All of the pedigrees are of german/belgian/czech dogs. Yes, on the "for sale" page there were a couple of sickly looking dogs but they were in fact german showlines (I remind you not only americans can go overboard). They actually go to great lenghts to explain the differences in the German vs American system on their SchH page.
From their placed page it looks as though they have sold quite a few dogs. Try and get them to give you contact info for references. Granted those will be somewhat slanted, but it is better than nothing. Try to get them to give references as far back as their first few litters if possible (they must have been breeding for a while to be up to the M-litter).
I also looked at the website and even though the dogs on the home page do look like AmBreds, that doesn’t mean anything, since you asked about a specific litter. The pedigree for that litter seems OK, at least it didn’t raise my eyebrow. The only thing I found a bit odd is listing BH in conjunction with SchH III & FH. I s’pose to those who don’t know much about titles, it may appear more impressive.
As far as advertising color, I can understand that. Since they market to the public, that may cut down the number of unnecessary phone inquiries, as the #1 question (at least from my experience) is “what color are they” or “I’m looking for a black…”. The second question is usually “how much will he/she weigh?”
My advice is to see the litter, the dam/sire, check out the validity of their guarantees, make sure there are not problems with paperwork and contact the references.
Thanks folks for the replies ---- by the way the price of their dogs aren't cheap - they are asking $2,000 for the GSD pup. That's why I'm asking these questions.
I have a couple friends in that part of Kansas and nobody has heard of the kennel.

Mark You are right Mark thats not cheap. Still they advertise low prices...so I don't know maybe it is a marketing thing.
