I am curious...We recently had a litter and this is the first time we are
using the Bio-Sensor method of raising the litter. Today is the fifth day
and I must say they are the most active we have ever had. The only thing I
can attribute it to is this method. Does anyone else experience in this method???
Here is a link for those of you who don't know what it is...
Didn't the military discontinue the superdog program about 20 years ago?
"The results of the experiment arrived at the Lackland Dog School in the early
70's. The Army had closed down its dog program and no longer needed the
resulting Bio-Sensor dogs, as they were known. " http://www.dposs.com/k9/history.htm
Todd, people on other boards have used this method and swear by it. I had never heard of it until they mentioned it. One person was even stating that the puppies were doing sits at 4 wks! Don't know if bs or not, but I plan to find out with my next litter. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" />
I use this with my litters. There are many benefits to using it. However, one must also be careful and not go overboard. Over stimulation can have the opposite effect.
Yes, the military has discontinued it. I stumbled across it about 6 months ago. Have been doing research. I have liked everything I have heard.
As far as overstimulation...that goes with everything you don't want to do anything too much... <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/laugh.gif" alt="" />
Like I said, this is the most active litter I have ever had. It is fun trying to weigh them. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/laugh.gif" alt="" />
