Hello, fellow GSD enthusiasts! I need your help regarding the statment: "Mink and Fero free". I saw this advertised on a kennel website and I would like this statement explained. Do these dogs carry undesirable health traits or would it simply be a personal preference of the breeder(s) in question? I love learning as much as I can about pedigrees/lines; I would very much appreciate any knowledge sent my way. Thank you!
With the prevalence of Fero in dogs today (and Mink to a lesser extent), people advertise "Mink & Fero free" so anyone that's may have dogs already heavy on Mink or Fero have something they can go out to rather than compounding even more.
I agree with u VC. Mink is something that i would like to see in a dog.
Fero....hmmmm Ed don't like him...may be hate...LOL , but look like Fero is 'coming back' on third or forth generation of his progenies.
heheh VC who came 1st in WUSV 2004 ?
