I was wondering if anyone has ever seen a boxer at Schutzhund trials before. I have grown very fond of the breed and would like to try one in Schutzhund if the temperment and drive is right. I know they have them in Germany alot.
That's where I saw them - in Germany. There was an all-boxer schutzhund club near me, lots of members. Some of them were pretty nice, but they were from breedings of all working boxers, selected for the right traits. If I were going to try to do the sport with one, I would for sure go back to Germany and buy one that is suited to it, not try an american one.

We have two Boxers in or PSA club and they do pretty good. But we use a bite suit in PSA. I would wonder if there mouth coud get a reg. sleeve as its much wider than the cloth of a suit.

Another bonus of German bloodlines, they have larger heads and aren't as flat faced. Is it just me or do the AmBred Boxers look REALLY small and delicate?
In the AKC the boxer is considered a "head breed". That, unfortunately, means the "perfect" head is the goal to reach for. What/whom determines what is perfection is one of those mysteries of the universe. I've only seen one working Boxer. It was a VERY impressive looking dog. Then again, I think just average Working GSDs are a hell of a lot more impressive than the best ACK dogs.
In DVG you would see boxers at alot of the Florida trials. Wendy Mayhill from the Ocala area did alot with boxers for several years, although I don't know if she is still currently active in the sport.
There is also a young lady with the Appleton, Wisconsin club ( Fox Valley, a USA club )working a Finnish import boxer currently.
