MRE's, WHAT DO THEY HAVE TO DO WITH WORKING DOGS??
How about being shared by Handler and Military K-9's in the world's most hostile locations!!!!!!
I know of many meals shared equally by K-9 and Handler.
VanCamp, I don't think you will find a more worthy Working Dog then the Military K-9's doing duty in remote hostile locations all over the world. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/laugh.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/tongue.gif" alt="" />
Until you share don't try to compare!!!! <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/laugh.gif" alt="" />
MRE..." meals, ready to eat"
Three lies for the price of one!! <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" />
Sorry...old vet joke, I couldn't resist.
The Military did have dogs in the first and now the second Gulf war. ALL military dogs with the exeption of a few Navy dogs are Dual purpose, Patrol/Exp or Patrol/Narc. None of the dogs that I kow of that came back from the first war had any problems. They were not taken the preventive drugs the troops were taking. Most of the Gulf dogs have since died or been retired. The dogs is country now are showing no signs of any problems.
When people get scared they call the police..When the police get scared they call K-9!
There was a study done on the 1st Gulf War dogs that returned. When those dogs died a necropsy was conducted and samples of different organs and fluids were taken to be studied. To my knowledge nothing major was found or any "Gulf War Syndrome" for dogs detected.
