I was wondering if somone can direct me to books that are well written and very informative to the BEGINNERS in dog breeding. I have tried to find the book Practical Genetics.... by Malcolm Willis but is no longer in print along with his other books for some reason. I need some easy books to read so I can get on the right track and learn about genotype and Phenotype and recessive vs. Dominant genes and all that good stuff. Thanks.
P.S. web sites and videos pertaining to this subject are also welcome.
Try Willis' book "Dalton's guide to practical animal breeding". It's reasonably priced. This address should take you to the page where you can read some excerpt pages from it and see if it's what you're looking for.
