Has anybody used one of these collars and does anyone know the difference between the curogan and the stainless steel? I have had a few people ask about them, but I don't even know where to get one! <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/confused.gif" alt="" />

Laura,
Curogan is a copper-tin alloy that is stronger (tensile strength) than copper alone. It is similar to copper-beryllium alloy that spark proof hand tools are made from.
Herm Sprenger markets them as an alternative to Stainless products, b/c nickel is a common skin allergen. BTW, Stainless Steel is a high nickel alloy of steel.
Neither will ever rust, which is a nice alternative to chrome-plated steel.

John, thanks, I thought they were bronze, wasn't sure. I also like the fact that they won't discolor light coated dogs, but trying to find a dealer for them is akin to looking for the holy grail  !
