I'm glad this group was brought up. I think many of the people on this board need to know about this group. They are generally not what you'd think of as left wing protestors. These are very violent people. I know a man that was shot in Colorado with a .22 while hunting as a guide by ALF members. Luckily he lived. I've also heard stories of these sickos poisoning bird dogs, etc. These are the same type of people that spike trees as well.

If you see ALF members you need to be aware that they are very violent and unlike many "radical groups" or criminals they might do something to cause harm you.

I think these people are mostly on the West Coast (California or Seattle)and seem to be around other places like Wisconsin, New York, Colorado, New Mexico and other places that have lots of wildlife but have large urban communities not too far by at the same time. This is just my opinion, I'm sure there are many places people like this are.

I'm glad to see someone expose this type of group. They need to be made aware to the public. Especially protection dog owners or hunting dog owners. If you see these type of people take it seriously and be on your guard. The fact they are willing to kill people and sometimes even animals to defend animals is very psychologically disturbed.

The FBI keeps a statistical analysis on AFL, ELF and PETA. The DO NOT hesitate to further their actions through violence. Unless you are LEO, do not approach, if you are considered to be in opposition to their twisted thought process, they will try to do you BODILY HARM.

They have poisoned bird dogs? Isnt this a bit hypocritical? You know groups like these remind me of something my Dad used to always say...everyone needs a place to fit in, everyone needs to feel part of a "group." These poor misled individuals must not have had access to the boy scouts. Geeze.
