Ironic isn't it? A Dutch politican is killed by an animal activist. I guess the killer felt it justified to kill a skin animal to "save" a fur one....
" Police on Tuesday confirmed that they were holding the suspected assassin, a 32-year old Dutch environmental activist. Police refused to identify the suspect. But Fortuyn's party said he is Volkert van der Graaf, an animal rights campaigner who opposed animal testing."
Saw something interesting the other day, apparently the notorious ~Manson Family~ is and was heavily involved in these type of things. I guess all in the name of conservation, which I'm for but only when it comes to the practical stuff.
Anyway about the Manson deal, how's that for good PR? lmao!
It's just true crime stuff, a book about a prison counselor's tough time having to deal with those people in particular. I think it was mentioned midway through. It didn't say dog people per sae but it was about how they were heavily tied to people who commit violence for reasons like that. I guess it's that major California hippie thing down there. I just thought it would be interesting to know that the people that were involved with him now or then are involved in that to this day. I just thought it was interesting for people that do think they are like these people or want to get to know them the type of whackjobs that are in these circles.
IM if you want the link, I might be offending others by posting it here, lol. Sorry . . .
