Howard Scott Webboard User Reg: 11-19-2001 Posts: 225 Loc: Offline	Can anybody give some info on a book that can help a beginner on dog breeding some insight on the subjuect. I have tried to locate Malcom Willis' book "Practcal Genetics for Dog Breeders" but it is out of print and almost impossible to find. I have had several people recomend books from him but most of them are out of print. He does have one that I saw that was still in print but It did not look like it was going to help me much. It was on animal breeding i.e. farm animals and alot of the material I was not interested in. I need one on dog breeding for beginners. Thanks

Check it out. They have a number of books by Willis, and while not inexpensive- they are the best prices I have found. http://www.ravenridgedogs.com

I thought there were more breeding tapes on this website but there's one of whelping, it may talk about other areas one needs to know before breeding as well.
