The book talks about all vairities of the Belgian Shepherd covering/touching on just about every topic you can think of. The book is 480 pages and is a wealth of information. The book was just re-released 2nd edition and is on sale now for $49.95 through Alpine Publications. http://www.alpinepub.com/news.html Just FYI: Before the 2nd edition was just released they were selling used copies of the 1st edition for $187.00 on Amazon.com, so I would expect when the 2nd edition goes out of print the price will raise again.

Good for someone looking for introductory information regarding the sports, schutzhund, agility, ringsport etc etc. Its not a book for someone wanting to learn about the dog sports in depth, but more for someone interested in the Belgian Breed as a whole. There is limited resources on the Belgian Breed as far as books go and I have found this one to be very comprehensive.
