I imported the dog myself. I have the papers in hand. What I need is an export pedigree for the dog, or the bershinigin. This is issued either one the above by the Czech people, like what is done for the SV dogs. The AKC requires this. There is a fee attached to getting this paper work done with most of the other registrys I have done it with.
The breeders I have always worked with in the Czech Republic ask for this when they have the litter checked by the breed warden. It is an export pedigree, although little of the pedigree is on the paper. It shows the dogs name and dob, sire and dam, breeder, color, and person who the puppy was sold to. This is in addition to the FCI papers. Both are turned over to AKC.
That is the best I can help you with...sorry.

You need an export pedigree and a transfer of ownership letter from the dogs owner in Czech. This is always done by the person who sold the dog to you from Czech. The transfer of ownership letter shows that the ownership was trasferred to you and it has to have CMKU seal on it. On back of the export pedigree it will have previous owners name/address and new owners name/address with CMKU seal on it. On the front they will stamp "Export Pedigree". If the dog is from Slovakia, the export pedigree will be issued in the new owners name but you still need that transfer of ownership letter from SUCHNO. All this takes approx 4-6mo. to complete.

I can only speak for myself, but when I've imported from the Czech Republic, the export pedigree was handled by the breeder and was included in the price of the dog. And yes, it takes about 4-6 months to receive the documents.
