Depends on the dog and you. Takes a lot of work to have children and a working line dog, not even remotely impossible, but just a lot of work. Any young high drive dog is gonna be a handful with young kids. I have two toddlers now and have had as many as three Czech dogs at a time with three different temperaments. No bid deal.
SOME are not happy family types unless you know what the heck you are doing, even then some are not happy family types.
it really depends on the dog...
our Stormfront's Brawnson son is overly friendly (still a puppy). He doesn't mouth our children though, only myself and my wife (moreso on me, I've got the battle scars to prove it). I've seen a bitch that is just aggressive, whether inherited or learned is unknown, but she locks onto people like prey or fighting partners. Another male that I've seen is friendly with all, but used to be kind of shy.
thanks for the info guys,I am considering buying
a czech pup at the end of the year. My daughter has been brought up with working dogs so is very good with them my main concern was the ranking problem that a lot of people talk about and how much of a problem this can be most of the dogs here are line breed to tittus any further comments are greatly appreciated
There is no Czech dog in this country (Australia)that are linebred Titus PS. There is only two imports currently in this country that have Titus in their pedigrees that im aware of and I own both
