Hi all!
I just bought my first Czech GSD for PP, and it happens that she has SVV1 title, it's my first time to handle a titled dog. My problem is, I think she forgot some commands like the bark, retrieve, heel, etc. she's already 3 weeks with me now, and i guess she's already bonded with me.
Or should I start training her obedience again? Pls help me...
Welcome to the board! I will comment that this post is kinda funny in a way because if you just got a titled dog and don't know you should have been doing Obd from the git, you my have got the wrong dog. 3 weeks is not near enough time to completly bond I would say.... but OBD training will get you there. She or he has not forgotton anything, it's will he/she do it for you. Which should be the first clue who is boss. Get things moving! Don't delay, train today!

Just because the dog is titled really doesn't mean much.. she many have only minimal training. alot of these titles are put on just for sale of dog.. sometimes sitting around a table drinking a beer! So.. if it were me.. I would start at the beginning.. pretend she knows nothing. Play with her.. get her interested in her toy..in you.. get out some food..and work on the basics.. Have fun!
Thanks for your advices. Im using czech working commands. She's already responding some of my commands, sit, down, stay, heel etc. but when I command her heel, she will be in the heel position but when i start to move she wont follow me, I guess she's not well bonded with me.
Unless she was trained with a different command. I use heel to get my dog into the position but to have him actually follow I say fuss. Maybe that's the case with her, two commands?
