There are 6 Czech males imported here. All are handler hard and three are handler aggressive to varing degrees. Someone else will have different observations from their experiences. You will hear the same "handler sensitive" comments said about Malinois, Dutch Shepherds, Czech GSD, DDR, WG GSD, Dobermanns.
this is interesting. not long ago i visited a training group and certain individuals tried to convince me that czech dogs were the only way to go; that my young pup was "hard-headed" (and she probably is) but it seems like wherever i go i am told that i have the wrong dog, wrong bloodline, breed....whatever. assuming they have the "right" dog and i would go out and purchase something to suit them, i would end up with a bunch of dogs and accomplish little or nothing. i have come to the conclusion that sometimes we have to start with what we have.
by the way, i am quite new to this forum, but i have enjoyed very much reading posts from others and i look forward to meeting some of you in october. (flinks is terrific!) also i'd enjoy e-mailing with others about training, breeding and interesting dog stories on a more personal basis if you would care to p.m. me feel free to do so.
if there are no dogs in heaven, then when i die i want to go where they went. ---will rogers
