I purchased a male from j.c.weber about 5 years ago out of Baron and Iris. He told me that the pup had only one testicle, which was ok with me because i had no intention of breeding, but he assured me that he was great otherwise. I mentioned driving to get the pup and he said he would rather ship him, and like an idiot and first time buyer i agreed. When i got to the airport to pick up the 6 month old pup he would not come out of the crate. Took him home and he still would only come out of the crate momentarily then return to the crate. He also had a soft ear. I called to speak to him and he assured me that the ear would come up. A few months later no erect ear, i called him and he said it was my fault and i should have done something about it earlier. I kept Casper even though he had a soft ear, but he never offered to replace him, not that i would have because by that time i was attached to him. He was very intelligent ( he could open our front door and his runner gate), and had great prey drive. But I would not purchase another one from him. Sorry, the story was so long
