We'll be adding another pup once we're settled into our new and bigger place. This will be my personal dog as well as a Sch dog. We've got 2 GSDs in residence, male working line pup who is doing great in Sch and my Mink Gdaughter who is doing better than predicted . . . New pup won't get much play time w/the other 2, naturally tho the male is super social.
Preferred traits would include nice prey; reasonable defense; SOLID NERVES; I'm partial to handler sensitive dogs, allows for a lighther touch in training; obviously good health; sociability: he doesn't need to be a Golden Retriever, but I have 2 teenage stepkids so he needs to be social enough; did I mention SOLID NERVES? Also prefer size to be w/in standard, a bit smallish is fine; pls no oversize. Not especially interested in breeding this pup, mostly want a good companion (he will be in the house w/me a lot)/working dog. Coat color I couldn't care less about as long as it's w/in standard. In case I forgot, we do place a hi value on SOLID NERVES. We are considering working lines top and bottom only.
We'll be in our new place probably by 10/1, if not earlier.
This will be a case of I will know Mr. Right when I see him. Thanks!
