As I have posted in other forum topics before, I am getting a working GSD puppy in January. This puppy will be born of Pacer and Uhli, both Vom Leerburg dogs. Pacer is 6 years old and has become a certified SAR dog.
The puppy's grandsires are Orfey von Haus Antverpa and Otis vom Jacobiner Schloss. The grand-dams are Abbi vom Leerburg and Jenny V Tiekerhook.
Does anyone have any info on the dogs in this pedigree? How good producers they are, any heard-of hip problems or anything else, positive or negative, concerning their performance?
THanks in advance.
P.S. My puppy is destined to a great Sch future...I hope <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/wink.gif" alt="" />

we bred to a Jenny son (Boss Zwart), great things to be expected from these little ones...a little too early to tell, even though they are some little spitfires already (only 2 1/2wks old). <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/wink.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/laugh.gif" alt="" />
Browse through the topic, "Leerburg Customers and their Dogs" on the main website. This link will get you started, http://www.leerburg.com/pupcust.htm
This is one about an Orfey-Sausha son that went to the World Schutzhund Championship in 1999. Condor also placed 3rd in the Canadian Sch3 championships. http://www.leerburg.com/alexander.htm
I rather liked the comment about " ... does obediance as a favor ..." in that article. A friend has an Orfey-Sausha female. That remark fits Dallas to a T.
You can also do a search for "Otis" and "Orfey" on the Leerburg website. That will create a long list of references to either dog.
