Hi folks,I have a 5.1/2 month old female GS.from good working lines, the only problem I have had with her is that 9 out of 10 times when I greet her she will get exicited and pee.I was told by the breeder that all pups do this but I owned a male before and he never did this. The only thing I can think of that I might have done wrong was I did'nt start socialization in earnest(for fear of disease)until she was 4mo-old,but since then I take her everywhere I can.The other day I went into a store and when I came back to the car I waved and praised her for being a good dog while I was gone what a mistake, she got excited and peed all over the car seats. That was a one time occurence but you get the idea. She only does this when greeting people so what I do now is stay real low key, move to a designated spot, put her in a sit then squat down and greet. This seems like a lot to do just to say hello. One other thing this usually only happens after a seperation, when I 1st come home from work etc. Any advice would be helpful.
