I can probably quote from all 28 Leerburg videos I own but even I don’t memorize the numbers. So I guess your question is do I go from Your Puppy 8 Weeks to 8 Months right into Basic Dog Obedience? Every dog matures differently and has a different temperament. I would stay with motivational obedience until my dog was mature enough to bounce back from a correction and go into drive. Because as we all know the first commandment of obedience is DRIVE – COMPULSION – DRIVE. The earliest for this is 6 months of age and for some dogs much later. I would advise you to view the later a few times before you follow it to give you and understanding of the 3-phase approach to obedience. In this way you will not think that your dog is reliable before he goes through the proofing phase.
I am going to have to put Vince on the payroll around here. My mother asked me to do a DNA test on him to see if he was a long lost relative that was trying to improve the family tree.

I was thinking more like "separated at birth!!" Not a bad idea to put him on the payroll. It sure is tough finding good help these days!
If I paid an average of 40 dollars for 28 tapes that comes to 1,120 dollars. It would take about a month of lessons at about 40 dollars an hour to learn everything that I learned form those tapes. So 160 times 40 is 6,400 dollars. Which means I saved 5,280 dollars!
I know it didn't work on my ex-wife either. I guess that's why she's my ex. Oh well I always have Kai...and my videos.
Vince, please don't give Ed any ideas
You are lucky your ex didn't lay claim on your videos. When Pete & I divorced we had to DIVIDE ours, and believe me, it wasn't easy... I still want my KNPV back, LOL. At least now we are back to being good friends and can share -- he is buying the next Flinks' video .
