I am working a young GSD (good strong working lines) with lots of prey drive but not the greatest nerves. She was begun improperly (her breeder worked her in defense when she was a baby and messed her up quite abit)...anyways we have begun her grip development and all is going well until the handler tries to bring her "into her arms", she will immediately drop the prey item...the handler or helper can tug, etc and she hangs on for dear life. Her carry is getting better but once the handler brings the dog into her arms or positions herself next to the dog, the dog drops the item immediately..even if she knows she'll lose it....everything els is improving but this...help
