David peralta Webboard User Reg: 12-17-2003 Posts: 6 Loc: Offline	I was hoping for some advice for a friend. He recently got a female Gsd pup. He kept her in a seperate kennel from his male Gsd max. Yet max got out one night and spent the whole night in the females pen while the female was thought to be in her heat cycle. The pup was 8 months when this happned, he has noticed that after a month from that incident the females breast seem a little swolen. Could she be pregantant???? any advice would really help him. If it has been a month, she can still safely be spayed, but you can not put it off ANY longer. Make an appointment to take her in on Monday or Tuesday if possible. Having puppies at that age is extremely risky. If your friend put off taking care of it this long then they shouldn't have an intact female on the property, so it will all work out for the best.
