Hello Everyone:
First of all, I am going to apologize for what I am about to say...
Great that you have found a good puppy that you have incorporated into your family. But, I can remember you making quite a few posts' earlier about some of your concerns and problems that you were having with your puppy and did not know what to do about his behavior and problems like:
"dominance" "fear biting" "shy & aggressive dogs" etc.
You can't look at a 4 month old puppy and tell what he is going to do to protect you if there is an actual threat. Your statements show your inexperience with serious working dogs overall.
I hope you will take "some" advice of the board, you can't do it all by yourself, so get some professional help in training your puppy now because you will need it in the future.
Pauline,
As a Dobermann breeder and lifelong Dobermann owner I have to say the bonding and loyalty is what this breed is known for. As for your attitude, well............
At 4 months old NO dog, of any breed is capable of protecting you in a real scenario. Only a select few adult dogs could really protect you for pete's sake!!
I am glad you are so pleased with your dog but you have a lot to learn and maybe should tone down the "in your face" attitude.
I agree with Cindy. I will take it one step beyond and close the thread. It is very foolish to come and post this kind of arrogant "in your face" crap. It's even funnier when I think of the fact that you are talking about a 4 month old. You must be a genious to totally have your dog figured out already. Thread closed. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/mad.gif" alt="" />
