Are you talking back in the pedigree or modern day (like who to get a pup out of)?
There are lots of good females of the past, very strong female lines like Afra vom StoppenbergerLand, Askia vom Froschgraben, Ricke vom Körbelbach, Marek von Haus Antverpa, Gimmy vom Haus Larwin (Gento's littersister), April and Bessie vom alten Kauz, Umsa vom Bungalow, Cora zum Lahntal, Ivette vom Fürstendamm, and Evi vom Körbelbach to name a few.

thnks everyone, I'll reserch those, but also is there a way to tell currently what females are going to be influential or is it allways after the dogs have produced other "famous" dogs. are there curent females or lets say 1st generation pedigree females that are exceptional. I'm trying to look down the road. The end goal is for buying a pup.
mmmmm, kevin, better clean your glasses. mike did mention umsa, but that's okay. she has so many terrific kids, grandkids and gr.grandkids that she certainly deserves to be mentioned twice.

hey VC - tell us about Haus Himple bitches...my sable female has a strong base in this kennel, and at koering, the Koermeister made a point of telling me that her looks and character were very very characterisic of this kennel. Other trainers have also commented that her dam/dam's pedigree must have been very good . I would like to know more about what characteristics coming from haus Himple are notable.

ok, so I have looked at haus hempel lines, what are the differences between east german and west german working lines? I know how the structure is different and i have been told that east german dogs have less prey drive, take longer to mature. I heard they have better hips too. Not to say west german dog s don't have those things either, any info opinions would be great...
